The Scotia Band originated in 1935, and has been performing continuously ever since. 75 Years... |
We completed our 75th Anniversary week between August 8-15, 2010, culminating in a special concert at the Fortuna River Lodge, and celebrated during the remainder of 2010 at each of our usual performances. We particularly appreciated that so many were able to join us for our celebration, including a number of alumni. Please see the Calendar page for specific dates and times of our future performances. We hope you will again be with us, and we look forward to providing entertainment for the greater Eel River Valley for years to come. We continue gathering information and working on the creation of a book to feature the second 50 years of Scotia Band for our 100th anniversary. With adequate funding, we hope to have this book completed and electronically available. |
